ABOUT US

Welcome to Padfoot Veterinary Physiotherapy

Padfoot Veterinary Physiotherapy is run by Lucy who has over fifteen years’ experience in the veterinary industry working as a Registered veterinary nurse. 

 

In 2019 Lucy qualified from Nottingham University with a PG advanced Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy and went on to gain her Masters degree in Veterinary physiotherapy in January 2021. Lucy is a qualified recover certified rescuer for small animal patients, a fear free professional as well as a Veterinary osteoarthritis alliance professional. Lucy has also achieved her certificate in canine hydrotherapy along with her Vets Now certificate in Emergency and critical care. 

 Specialisms and interests:

-Nuerological rehabilitation

-Supporting owners to improve welfare of patients with chronic conditions 

-Preventative physiotherapy

-Working with agility canines

-Happy working with nervous, anxious or aggressive patients and finding a treatment plan that suits the individuals needs

-Passion for working with heavy horses

-Experience working with competition horses

-Physiotherapy skills not limited to canine and equine

-Equine Indiba practitioner
